America finds another low to hit

Our current President has been an embarrassment from day one... but now he's committing actual crimes:

... crimes that would put normal people in jail for up to 5 years.  I really wish I had a way to move to a different country.
The username Vladimir was far more amusing to me as a Dune fan.  Putin has managed to take the fun out of the name for me though

So your president is a crook with no business ethics and even less acumen.  So no actual news then.
I do sympathise.  If only we had a leader who was even marginally better than yours......

Off to give the handcart a service, it's going to be needed.

I keep going back and forth between "Oh, stop worrying so much. History has been filled with bad leadership. It was never really the end of the world" and "Keep pulling the trigger and eventually humanity will find the chamber that has the bullet."

Look on the bright side, you might be at war with Denmark soon.

Serious question. Is your president actually sane?

I honestly don't think so.  Even the whole, "he uses chaos to distract his enemies" thing seems like grasping at straws now.   I think his supporters are in varying camps.  There's the racists who are so angry that the last president was black that they'll cheer while Rome burns as it were.  Then there's the people who, much like Trump himself, are incapable of admitting to a mistake (my in-laws are equal parts both.  It's why I finally dropped out of facebook.  I can't keep interacting with those people.  I will eventually need to be in the same room as them at some point.)  Then there's the people too simple to understand the damage he's doing.  They see the false glamour of a 'billionaire' and the short term gains (that are about to bite us in the ass SOOOOO HARD) of his idiotic market manipulation and think he's actually doing well.  Then there's the isolationists and xenophobes who think his bridge burning is actually a good thing.

He surrounds himself with these kinds of sycophants and drinks in their praise.  I think it went to his head, filled it beyond it's limit and know his id has burst.  Every tweet we read from him is flying shrapnel from his exploding ego.

Holy crap!

I looked closely at the picture in the linked article and as a golfer all I can say is that the rough looks really...well...rough. Much tougher than the fairly well-manicured rough on most American courses.

I guess you can all blame the current situation in Syria on me. Once I said I didn't think Trump could sink any lower he must have gotten wind of it and vowed to prove me wrong.
