I think I've said before that I like beers that are brewed with fruit. I also like shandy's and radler's. (Is a shandy a radler?)

A couple of years back, I was at a restaurant that served Tecate beer with lime (which is pretty normal) but before they gave it to you, they would dip the can upside down in a dish of powdered salt. It's now m favorite thing.

The username Vladimir was far more amusing to me as a Dune fan. Putin has managed to take the fun out of the name for me though

LOL. It's my 44th birthday today and my wife bought me a bottle of Hendrick's Gin. I've never really drank gin before, but I've wanted to try it because it's infused with cucumber. I think I'll save it for the Game of Thrones series finale on Sunday.

Hendrick's is good gear. Ice, tonic, slice of lemon. It's a classic because it's delicious. Best consumed in a semi-reclined posture, ideally outdoors with a magnificent view. Damn, it's a lovely day, I'very just become thirsty, I have some Tanqueray 10 (my current gin of choice) and all the other necessities, but it's only 9.30 am, and I have to go to work in 4 hours. It's not right.

Happy birthday! I wound up having a couple of drinks last night myself. Not gin (can't remember the last time I had gin come to think of it) but vodka. With ginger beer and a couple of drops of lime.

It's Friday. Beer on the train ride home for me tonight. I've decided I'm going to revisit 1981's "Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy" TV show. I brought the DVD set to watch on my laptop while I sip either a Tecate or a Fosters on the commute. I haven't decided which yet. It'll depend on how muggy it is when I leave work. If it's arid, Tectate... if it's muggy Fosters. Don't ask me why, that's just how my preferences work.
